Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar to form a crust. Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add sugar and vanilla extract, mixing well.
- Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Fold in diced apples and cinnamon. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the crust.
Baking
- Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the center is set.
Finishing
- Let cool and then drizzle with caramel sauce before slicing into bars.
Notes
For serving, stack bars on a platter, drizzle with extra caramel, and serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream. Store leftovers in the fridge for about a week or freeze for up to three months.
