Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1 lb steak tips
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 8 oz rigatoni pasta
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Method

Preparation
  1. Season the steak tips with Cajun seasoning.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the seasoned steak tips and cook until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add heavy cream. Bring to a simmer.
  5. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  6. Meanwhile, cook rigatoni according to package instructions; drain and add to the sauce.
  7. Toss the rigatoni in the creamy sauce.
  8. Add the cooked steak tips back into the skillet, mixing everything together.
  9. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. For longer storage, freeze for a month but know that the sauce may thicken. Gently reheat with a splash of cream if needed.
