Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the brown sugar, granulated sugar, and butter until smooth.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto ungreased baking sheets.
Baking
  1. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  2. Let cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.

Notes

For storage, keep cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for 3-5 days. They can be frozen for longer storage. Serve with vanilla ice cream or drizzle with chocolate sauce for an extra treat.
