  • 1 lb ground beef Use lean beef for a healthier option.
  • 1/2 cup diced onions
  • 1/2 cup pickles, sliced
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise Can use vegan mayo for a vegan option.
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 8 slices American cheese Can substitute with cheddar or pepper jack.
  • 12 pieces slider buns Toasted inside for crunchier texture.
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sesame seeds (optional)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and onions until the beef is browned and cooked through. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard to create the sauce.
  4. Slice the slider buns in half and place the bottom halves in a baking dish.
  5. Layer the cooked beef mixture on the buns, add a slice of cheese, pickles, and drizzle with the sauce.
  6. Place the top halves of the buns on the sliders.
  7. Optionally, sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  8. Bake in the oven for about 10-15 minutes until the cheese melts and the buns are lightly toasted.
  9. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For leftovers, store in the fridge for about 3 days or wrap and freeze for up to a month. Reheat in the oven at a low temperature until warmed through.
