  • 1 lb ground beef Browned and drained
  • 2 cups mashed potatoes Prepared in advance
  • 1 cup creamy mushroom soup For moisture and flavor
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese Shredded, for topping
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt to taste Salt
  • Pepper to taste Pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  3. In a large bowl, mix the browned beef with onion powder, garlic powder, and salt and pepper to taste.
Assembly
  1. Spread the beef mixture evenly in a casserole dish.
  2. Layer the creamy mushroom soup on top of the beef.
  3. Top with prepared mashed potatoes and sprinkle with cheddar cheese.
Baking
  1. Bake for 30-35 minutes, until heated through and cheese is melted and bubbly.
