Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup sugar
Wet Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup milk Can substitute with almond milk or any non-dairy alternative.
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Main Ingredients
  • 2 cups diced apples You can also use pears for variation.
  • Cooking spray or oil for frying
  • Powdered sugar for dusting Dust before serving.

Preparation
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and sugar.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, and vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients; mix until just combined.
  5. Fold in the diced apples.
  6. Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
Cooking
  1. Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the basket, ensuring not to overcrowd.
  2. Cook for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown, flipping halfway through if needed.
  3. Remove from the air fryer and let cool slightly.
  4. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh but can be refrigerated for up to 3 days. For longer storage, freeze in an airtight container for up to 1 month. Reheat in the air fryer for 5 minutes.
