Preparation
- Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and sugar.
- In another bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, and vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients; mix until just combined.
- Fold in the diced apples.
- Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
Cooking
- Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the basket, ensuring not to overcrowd.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown, flipping halfway through if needed.
- Remove from the air fryer and let cool slightly.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
Best enjoyed fresh but can be refrigerated for up to 3 days. For longer storage, freeze in an airtight container for up to 1 month. Reheat in the air fryer for 5 minutes.
